Lauren & Ethan: A Sweet Southern Wedding
Lauren & Ethan shared a beautiful October day with their family & friends. We love the pretty-in-pink bridesmaids with their pearls, the sweet floral details in the ceremony, and all the lovely bride and groom photos! (Plus, how cute is their son in his suspenders & bowtie?!)
From the Bride: Our love story "officially" began when we were both 18 and beginning our freshman year at the University of Kentucky. However, after looking through old pictures for our baby shower, we discovered that our story actually began long before anyone had ever thought. As it turns out we were in the same pre-school class. I guess the chemistry was not quite there yet so God then sent us our separate ways and we would attend separate schools only to cross paths again years later in college.
My vision for an outdoor, fall wedding was a very intimate and quaint country setting, with the main colors being coral and gold. Everything was beautiful just as I had always dreamed it would be. My favorite moment of the day would have to be when my sister-in-law sang the song for the mother/son dance, "Godspeed". She invited all the other mothers and sons at the wedding to join them to share their dance on the floor. Luckily enough, I was able to share this sweet moment with my precious baby boy and dance the night away. It was a moment I will never forget and something that I will cherish in my heart forever!
