We love the perfectly winter-inspired bridal bouquet &, of course, the Bride's wedding day look! We're sure the groom was absolutely stunned when he saw his beautiful bride-to-be coming down the aisle in her lovely birdcage veil! Keep scrolling to see photos & read the couple's story, told through their photographer! From the photographer: Courtney & Kenley are true "high school sweethearts". They were introduced by a mutual friend and added each other on Myspace (yes, you read that right!). He was a drummer with a mohawk & she was a driven student & community volunteer who participated in scholarship pageants. Even though they seemed different at first, they instantly connected & found similar interests in punk rock music, comedy movies, & silly sarcastic humor. The sparks flew.

They grew up together & found support & comfort in each other as they experienced the ups & downs of life. From high school, to college, to getting a pet, to getting big kid jobs, they were there for each other. That was when Kenley popped the big question...

On December 23, 2013, Kenley asked Courtney to come watch a Christmas video he had made for her. She watched all the memories over the years & laughed. It wasn't until the end that she suspected something...Kenley appeared on the video & asked, "Courtney, will you marry me? Seriously." He was knelt in the floor next to her with tears in his eyes & an incredibly beautiful diamond ring in his hand. How could she say no?!

They envisioned a winter wedding around Christmas. They both love Christmastime & the joy it brings, so it's fitting that their big day is around this time of year. The colors they chose are gold & silver...modern, but still with a holiday feel.

Riding in the '57 Chevy on the way to the reception was a fun moment together. After the excitement of the wedding had come to an end, Courtney & Kenley finally had a moment to just talk & enjoy being with each other in the backseat of the antique car. The rain finally coming to an end just in time for their arrival at the reception.

Their very favorite wedding day moment was when the two met eyes as the bride was walking down the aisle. All their anticipation & excitement leading up to that moment was happening. She hadn't told him anything about her dress, veil, hair, anything. He didn't even know if she was wearing a short of long dress. It was so exciting for both sides to see the expression on one another's face when they met eyes. Tears, smiles, laughter, but mostly joy just to be in that moment.
