The ceremony is brimming with florals & charm in front of a centuries-old house, where the two walked up the aisle with their adorable daughter in the cutest flower crown. We have the photos below plus the couple's story from the groom's perspective! From the groom: The idea of hitting on a woman at the gym is usually a bad one. From the female perspective, I get it. No one wants to be picked up while she is trying to break a sweat. But from the male perspective, especially those of us who like to exercise, nothing is more attractive than a woman performing strenuous physical activity. Throw in the fact that the girl in question can crank out 8-10 pull ups, and Elizabeth became irresistible to me.

As owner/head coach of a gym, it was easy enough to make small talk with Elizabeth and give her a little extra encouragement & coaching. Although, if you ask her, she will tell you that I snubbed her when we first met. There is a fair amount of truth to that actually but, let's face it, that probably helped my case, & I had 25 people waiting on me to lead them through a workout at the time!

Nevertheless after a few weeks I finally got the courage to ask her out, and, despite that initial snubbing, she agreed. From there it was a whirlwind of fine dining, couple workouts, fun at sporting events, and even some spontaneous traveling.

After only dating for one month we took off on a long weekend to Scottsdale, Arizona and had one of those legendary trips that one never forgets. Three years later we were planning to return and I knew that was the perfect place to propose. In fact, part of the legend of that first trip was a photo taken on a mountaintop at sunset. I planned a hike back to that same spot and, with ring in pocket, set up the camera timer, and just like that another legendary moment was captured on film in the mountains outside of Scottsdale.

When it came time to plan the wedding, again it was important to us to have it at a location that had significance to us. A few years back, while traveling from a concert in Cincinnati, Ohio to a mud run in Lebanon, Kentucky, we came upon a bed and breakfast know as Maple Hill Manor.

The Manor, located in Springfield, Kentucky, is owned by a charming pair of gentlemen who we immediately hit it off with, and we followed up that visit with three or four more over the next few years. This was the spot. A rustic, picturesque, centuries-old Manor with which we both had developed a special bond. The big day, September 27, was perfect, and the most memorable thing to both of us was how each & every guest that we spoke to commented that it was the most beautiful wedding he or she had ever attended. Our wedding day certainly made for a fairytale beginning to an exciting future with my wonderful new family.
