From the bride: Hunter & I met as seniors in high school at our church's youth group. A mutual friend introduced us & from the moment we met, we were inseparable. We quickly found ourselves spending every moment together that we could. Hunter had me laughing every minute until my stomach hurt & my cheeks were numb. I knew that I didn't want him going anywhere anytime soon. In our relationship we have always been best friends & I truly believe that is why our relationship is so strong.

Two & a half years flew by & I found myself on a beach in Destin, Florida with the love of my life down on one knee in front of me. Tikki torches, the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and the moonlight surrounded us. It couldn't have been a more perfect setting to get to say "yes" to spending the rest of my life with my very best friend. Wedding planning began quickly. I couldn't hesitate because I had been dreaming & Pinterest-ing up the most perfect wedding since I could remember. I knew exactly what I had in mind & my florist perfectly named it "rustic chic".

My mom & I started the search for the perfect venue. Day after day of searching we finally found the perfect location that combined exactly everything I had ever dreamed of: Gingerwoods. The ceremony would be outside on the back lawn & the reception would be inside & on the back deck. It was always important for me to have a backup plan just in case it rained, and this venue created a perfect Plan B just in case.

Details were pulled together...bourbon barrels, lace, horseshoes, mason jars, & cowboy boots. The year we were engaged flew by with the stress of planning fading away. The day was finally here; we couldn't believe it. I found myself on the back porch of my parent's home on the morning of the wedding just amazed that it was finally the day I got to marry my best friend. The day was a whirlwind & better than I could have ever imagined. Each detail pulled together perfectly - a beautiful, sunny 80 degree day. Finally, I could call "husband".
