Jaimeson and I would like to thank you profusely for your support in our journey of Kentucky Bride, Ltd. We never included being magazine publishers in either of our career path visions. But with our continued wedding planning and producing the Kentucky Bride Bridal Shows over the years, we realized that brides needed education and inspiration to help them with their own wedding planning. So a vision for Kentucky Bride Magazine began … The vision boards below are what we showed our prospective advertisers for our very first issue! At that time, all we had was a dream!
Amazingly though, with no publishing or journalism experience, our very first issue was published in August 2008.And, since that time until now, we have learned many lessons, won many awards, are distributed in eight states and have had countless fabulous experiences sharing Kentucky wedding professionals and beautiful Kentucky weddings with the world.
So, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!
We also have an announcement to share with you today … I (Jacki) am retiring and moving to the Sunshine State! With this, Jaimeson has decided that she does not want to continue Kentucky Bride without me. We began this venture together, and we will end our time with Kentucky Bride together. As you know, we have always preferred to place our emphasis on people and our relationship with them; not the profits. So while this is a profitable business, it is also a business we only want to do together. We can still see big dreams and possibilities with Kentucky Bride; and we’re open to someone else continuing to pursue those with the magazine and How Charming! So, while we have made arrangements to protect Kentucky Bride’s brand, domains and business names, should you or anyone you know be interested in continuing Kentucky Bride and taking it to the next level, please contact us in the very near future. We're available to talk!
