Colorful Vineyard Wedding

The colors and the casual vibe of Katelin and Chantz's wedding are perfect for the vineyard setting. We love how bright it is. And check out those florals!

From the bride: I am obsessed with weddings! I love everything about them: the florals, the tulle, and just how positive they are. I knew I wanted my wedding to have a romantic feel, but still be casual and let people have fun. I didn't want the evening to be formal and I wanted people to relax and enjoy just being there to celebrate with us. I chose pinks, mauve, and pastel colors for my wedding because I knew I wanted to have the bright summery feel. Once I saw Chenault Vineyards I knew that's where I wanted to be; the bright green rolling heels with the rustic barn and the ceremony point overlooking hills and farmland sealed the deal for me.

My dress was possibly my favorite detail. I knew what dress I wanted before even going into Twirl Boutique. It had lush flowing tulle with hints of pink and a sheer beaded bodice with sleeves. I wanted something different, but still feminine and romantic and my dress had it all. For the bridesmaid dresses I knew I wanted to mix and match and something fun but couldn't quite put it together. Finally, I found 'Show Me Your Mumu' dresses and knew I could work with them to get the look I was going for. I picked the colors and let the bridesmaids pick the styles and which color they wanted and it turned out perfect! Our flowers turned out just as I had imagined! Carol Lynn Events knew exactly how to bring my ideas to life. My bouquet had an organic feel with the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen.

One of my favorite events was the mother/son dance, we did it a little nontraditional because I did the dance with my son. He's a music lover so he got right down and boogied it out. My favorite wedding day moment had to be towards the end of the night. Things were calming down and everyone was just having fun, dancing, playing cornhole, and watching the band. I loved getting to dance the night away with my husband and forget all the stress leading up to the day. The stress, the nerves, everything was gone and it was just me and him having so much fun and enjoyment with all our friends and family.

My advice for future brides would have to be - stop stressing! There are so many decisions and details involved, but no matter if you have three months or three years to plan it, not everything will be perfect like a fairy tale, but it will be perfect for your day. Give up the reins a little bit and just enjoy the process. Don't get so bogged down with the little details that you forget what the day is really about.
