Aileen and Dustin's Romantic Horse Farm Wedding

From the bride: After moving to Lexington to start at UK, we fell in love with Kentucky. Since most of our family and friends were from out of town and had never been to the Bluegrass state, we wanted to showcase the place we now call home. Rather than hosting a formal rehearsal dinner, we invited all of our guests to the Polo Barn for a casual evening, catered by one of our Lexington favorites, Bourbon and Toulouse! This offered the perfect opportunity to visit with those who are closest to us, as well as showcase the picturesque Kentucky countryside.

Our wedding day was amazing! The arbor set against a field of thoroughbred horses made for the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. We kept our decorations simple, using rich greenery, neutral flowers and rustic lighting to highlight the natural beauty of the farm. Our first look and pictures with our dog Cali gave us the perfect start to our nuptials, and finding small moments to take together throughout the day made our wedding unforgettable. The custom bourbon bar helped our DJ keep the party going late into the night. We had a blast dancing with everyone, and to top it all off, we ended the night with our favorite late night snack, Goodfellas Pizza. Overall, we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to celebrate with so many of our favorite people!
