Bevan + Austin's Old Kentucky Home Wedding
From the Bride: Our wedding took place at My Old Kentucky Home - nothing is “much more Kentucky” than that. The day was special both for the union/fellowship but also those sweet in-between moments or belly laughing jokes that came from that day. The best man dressed up in an old wedding gown and made his appearance before the bride as the first-look. We had breakfast for dinner, specifically chicken and waffles – which was a total hit with the guests! The Father-Daughter dance was a mash-up dance that had guests laughing hysterically. The rotunda, where we were married, was decorated and I hand made the flower wreath that hung in the center. I also hand made the welcome signs and card box to have an even sweeter touch. The champagne colors mixed with greenery and white kept the mood soft and light. A special touch was the brooch bouquet that I hand made that has heirlooms from my grandmothers, my mother, and aunts. The grand exit was glow sticks and off we went to our honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
