Abigale + Dalton's Ironwood Wedding

From the Bride: On our wedding day, we were surrounded by family and friends that care about us and have been a part of our lives in one way or another. We have been dating for 6 years so you can imagine the amount of people that have walked with us. Our wedding was so special knowing that each of them played a big part in our relationship!

Neither of us wanted a large, extravagant wedding. We wanted to keep it simple so my first thought was to focus on the details! I kept it simple by picking a shade rather than a color pallet. Shades of Blue. Eventually it became the theme of our wedding. On our wedding day every detail came together from the blue goblets on the table to all of our guests wearing a shade of blue.

Rather than having a full course dinner we had a l grazing table that was a really large charcuterie board. It was exactly what we expected and everyone loved it! We are very blessed to have the groom’s mom, Pam, who owns Batter and Buttercream. She is a skilled cake baker. Dalton being her only son, we knew that our cake had to be the biggest and best that she had ever made! It was just that. 6 layers of pure goodness including wedding white, strawberry, hummingbird, and bourbon. I can also confirm that every single piece was eaten! We danced our first dance to “Tuesdays” by Jake Scott

Bride’s Advice: Wedding planning does not have to be as complicated or extravagant as social media makes it out to be. It can be fun and simple. Your wedding is about you and your future husband!
