From the Bride: We got engaged right at the beginning of the pandemic and decided right away that we wanted to slightly downsize our wedding and keep it to our closest friends and family. With this in mind, we thought, why not make it a destination wedding?! So that's what we did. It wasn't a hard choice to settle on 30A since we both love the area so much. We found a beautiful Catholic Church in Santa Rosa Beach for the ceremony. Hearing the Priest introduce us as Mr. and Mrs. Mattingly for the very first time was so surreal! We chose the stunning Vue on 30A Beach Club to have our reception. The Vue literally sets right on the beach, so the view was unreal and made for the most picturesque backdrop to our best day ever.

The first look with my dad was super special. I gave him a tie with a patch of a photo of us when I was little on the back and we both got emotional. It was a really sweet moment. My most memorable sight was definitely seeing Cooper as I walked down the aisle. We didn't do a first look so the emotions were intense and I was so happy to see him!

One of our favorite details from our reception was the CIGAR BAR! The reception venue had two terraces so we devoted one to be the designated cigar bar where our guests could enjoy a beachside cigar! It was a huge hit. We also had a super fun photo booth with a neon sign back drop. The photo booth sent the photos straight to our guests phones and we got all of the photos back as well which were super fun and funny to look through after the wedding.

Instead of having a traditional guest book, I asked my cousin to do a watercolor painting of our reception venue. She absolutely nailed it and all of our guests signed it. We now have it framed in our home and its a super sweet memory.
