Christina + Aaron's Nicholasville Wedding
From the Bride: I had one request from my dad (who knows everything about cars – builds them, takes them apart – you name it, he knows it) was to have a custom bar for cocktail hour that eventually I could offer as a rentable service in the future. When he gave me the green light, I bought a worn out, awful looking horse trailer and we turned it into the dreamiest bar I could have ever imagined. I wanted one hour for the custom bar to be the main focal point for some point of the evening. It turned out perfect and I can’t wait to see it used again!
Cocktail hour provided “The Tina” my husband’s favorite (plot twist – it’s your basic vodka drink) Tito’s Vodka, Cran-apple juice, Bubly Lime poured into our custom frosted glasses. I wanted to find a way to incorporate our dog into the cocktail hour since Aaron’s favorite drink was named after me, so we added custom acrylic drink stir sticks with our sweet dog’s face on them – big hit!
Bride’s Advice: I won’t tell you to relax because let’s be real – nobody is truly relaxed while wedding planning. Just be sure to always have a maid/matron of honor on stand by to talk things out loud or to strategize with. Tell your people to check in on you (haha) - wedding planning is a lot and it can be overwhelming but if you surround yourself with the correct people your day will turn into the most magical moment of your life.
