Styled Moody Romance Courtyard Wedding

From the Event Planner and Designer: I brought vendors together for a collaborative styled shoot featuring real couple Josh and Hannah! I really designed the details around the concept of an autumnal, romantic feel with unexpected colors for the fall. My vision was a soft, romantic and unique take on an autumnal feel. With the base of dusty blues, teal blue and hints of blush and lavender against the beauty of a bricked courtyard with fountain, it was the perfect setting for Josh and Hannah to actually relive their wedding day! While some of the floral details had fall flair, the color palette would work so well for a Spring wedding as well. Probably the biggest inspiration came from the place settings I found at Anthropologie and knowing I had a beautiful courtyard, complete with fountain to work my magic!

The joy of Josh and Hannah arriving to "model" for this styled shoot could be felt the moment they arrived. Their love could be felt by all involved. While there was not a real plan to do a "first look", Josh had been whisked of to a local restaurant to enjoy some drinks and watch some football while Hannah was in hair and makeup. At the last minute when they both were ready for the photo shoot, the decision was made to give them that special moment. The decision was a good one as they were so excited to see each other. They said it was a magical as their real wedding day! The conclusion of the shoot was celebrated by inviting some of the vendor's favorite people for a real cocktail hour with music, food,fun and even matching cocktails!
