Natasha + Keegan's Bowling Green Wedding

From the Bride: Keegan and I got married on June 13, 2020 and it was like nothing we ever expected. Before the pandemic, we planned on having a 450-person wedding in Louisville, KY with a Pakistani celebratory reception the night before. Once the pandemic hit, we knew we had to postpone our large wedding for the safety of all our loved ones. Instead of waiting for the pandemic to resolve, we decided that we didn't want to wait any longer to get married. We decided to do an intimate wedding ceremony with just our immediately family and postpone our receptions to 2021. And to say it was the most special day of our lives would be an understatement.

Our wedding took place in the neighborhood I grew up in at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony where my little brother officiated (and killed it!). There was not a dry eye in sight! We then had a lovely, candlelight dinner on the patio of the The Club and ended our night by the fire-pit. Having a quarantine wedding succeeded our expectations. We cried, we laughed, we ate, we drank and most of all we became husband and wife!

For me, the one thing that made our wedding day stand out from the rest is that my little brother was our officiant. He became licensed during quarantine and performed a wonderful and meaningful ceremony. Once we got home for the evening, we also had a video made by our extended family sending us their love and best wishes which was super special since they couldn't be there in person to celebrate.

My favorite wedding day moment was getting to spend quality time with each of our family members. Since there were only 10 of us total, it gave us the opportunity to really be in the moment and enjoy our two families becoming one. My husband completely agrees!
