Olivia and Neil wanted their wedding day to feel distinctly Kentucky while keeping family and loved ones at the heart of every detail. Guests were treated to local favorites, including Ramsey's Diner Catering, Graeter's Ice Cream, and Ale-8-One, creating a celebration that reflected both the couple's roots and the community they cherish. Family remained a central focus throughout the day, including an extraordinary head table that seated more than 70 loved ones. "We wanted to ensure every family member was close to us on our big day," they shared.

Rather than a traditional guest book, the couple chose a more personal way to capture memories. Each guest had a professional photograph taken upon arrival, creating a collection of keepsakes that the newlyweds continue to treasure. "It has given us lots of sweet memories to look back on," they said. Another deeply meaningful moment came during the ceremony, which was officiated by the bride's father after he and the bride's mother walked her down the aisle together. Those family-centered touches made the day especially memorable.

For dessert, guests enjoyed cookies from Chick-fil-A and Root-A-Bakers of Morehead, Kentucky, along with a Graeter's Ice Cream sundae bar. Instead of a traditional first dance, the couple opted for an honorary family remembrance dance to Etta James' timeless classic, "At Last," creating a meaningful tribute to the loved ones who helped shape their lives.

Looking back on the planning process, the couple hopes other engaged couples will give themselves grace. "It's okay not to love wedding planning," they shared. "It's about your spouse and those who love and support you—nothing else."
