Jamie + Patrick's Richmond Wedding

From the bride: My favorite detail of our wedding was our wedding favors for our guests. My sister-in-law loves to bake and she made us homemade cookies. But the best part of the cookies were that they were based on the fact that my husband and I's initials form the classic acronym of PB&J. It has always been an inside joke between us, so she made cookies that looked like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Not only that, but I loved the food that we chose to serve our guests. Although our wedding was in the evening, we had breakfast for dinner. Most notably, we had my mom's gravy!

My favorite wedding day moment was definitely hearing my husband's vows. My husband can be soft-spoken and to hear the profound words about our love story can't be beat. So much so, that I have his handwritten vows he used during the ceremony framed in my house. My husband's favorite wedding day moment was our first look. We had our first look before the ceremony with close family and friends present. He says that it was his favorite moment because it just seemed like it was just him and I there, that everything else faded and he couldn't wait to be able to call me his wife! Such a romantic, right?
